The "Children’s Hospice Löwenherz" is on the outskirts of the town of Syke (district of Diepholz), around 20 kilometers from Bremen and 60 kilometers north of the state capital Hannover. It is an attractive small town situated in the countryside with rural surroundings and many leisure activities. Bremen offers the families many opportunities for excursions.

The children’s clinics in the Hanseatic city of Bremen can be accessed if required. The  Children’s Hospice is easy to reach over Autobahn 1. From the Hamburg direction, take the Bremen-Brinkum exit, from the Münster/Osnabrück direction, the Delmenhorst-Ost exit. From the Hannover direction, taking Bundesstrasse 6 is best.

Trains operate between Syke and Bremen (20 minutes), Hannover and Osnabrück at regular intervals.

Tip for Drivers:
From the B 6 at Steimker Berg (across from the car dealership), turn into "Alte Poststrasse." Navigation devices normally direct vehicles over the longer, poorly built Siebenhäuser Street to the children’s hospice.
